NYC Marathon Runner Christopher Costa is running the 26.2 miles to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis
With your help we raised $3,661.56
Thank you for all of your support - here's to finding a cure!
For those children and adults with CF who aren't strong enough to help raise money themselves for CF research, you have helped us to make a difference in their lives.
Thank you
On November 5th Chris ran 26.2 miles across the 5 boroughs of New York to raise money for cystic fibrosis. Thanks to all of your help we surpassed our goal of $3,000. We could not have done this without the support of our family, friends and community and the support of the Cystic Fibrosis Northeastern New York Chapter. Every donation we received will help aid in finding a way to prolong the lives of those with CF.
New York City Marathon
There are approximately 30,000 people in the United States with cystic fibrosis (40% who are now adults!). Currently there is no cure for CF, but there are many new treatments and the hope for even more in the future. Years ago, children with cystic fibrosis were not expected to reach school age. Today, with advances in technology and research, the life expectancy has become much longer.
